A Blog! How easy is this? I never thought I'd get published online, pity there are no royalties.
Ben and Lisa are Unemployed is the title and, the blog-in-five-minutes instructions told me I can change that. So send me your ideas as there's something not quite right about the title.
It's been a big build up to tomorrow, we've been working up to Friday and have had farewell do after farewell do. As much feel-good fun as they've been, we've only just begun to pack tonight.
This time tomorrow, we'll be looking for somewhere to dine, we figure it's our first night on the journey, and we're staying at the "Y" in Darwin so we can treat ourselves.
It just occurred to me that absolutely anybody could be reading this, so I best give you the run-down.
Lisa and I are a Sydney couple who are heading around the world for seven months. We have an RTW ticket and I'll include the flights here but the in between I can't really write about because it hasn't happened yet. By that I mean we are travelling some stretches overland and the paths aren't all particularly clear...

We have a ticket starting in Darwin, then we'll make our way overland to, and catch a flight back from, Kununurra. From Darwin we'll fly to Bangkok and make our way to HK, hopefully through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and China. From Honkers we'll fly to Amman via Dubai
then fly Amman to Istanbul. We'll make our way overland to Bucharest where we'll fly to NYC. Christmas in America and back to Sydney, with any luck, by late January. Did I mention we'd stop in Hawaii?
Lisa has just taken our photo and a photo of our washing being dried on a dark and wet balcony. We're so trendy not having a dryer.
This is my first ever post on my first ever blog, so here goes...
